Each day a learning or behaviour problem continues is another day of potential damage for your child.  At Mission Counselling, we try to see your child within two weeks of referral.   At Mission Counselling we endeavor to do a comprehensive and in depth assessment of your child.  We generally double check critical areas such as intelligence or learning disabilities to ensure that the results we obtain accurately reflect your child's learning problems.  In addition, we examine the effects of their learning disabilities on self-concept, behaviour, and personality.  You receive an extensive written report containing recommendations for both you and your child's school.   At Mission Counselling, follow-up on your child is an integral part of your child's assessment.  There is no charge for this follow-up.
